Uplift x Jacaranda Cottage: Fundraiser

Help us bring an early spring for those at Jacaranda!

Wouldn’t it be great for Jacarandas to bloom forever? With our current collaboration, you could help us get one step closer! 

Jacaranda Cottage is a refuge for young women aged between 16 and 24 who have become homeless or are at risk of becoming homeless. Their goal is to help young women through their hardship by providing a safe and supportive home that helps them move towards independent living. Since 1992, they have housed and cared for hundreds of young women, helping them work through their hardship, discover their identity and values, and reach their goals.

Late last year, we had the privilege of running our community screen-printing program alongside Jacaranda Cottage, providing the young women residing there with an opportunity to design and screen-print their own T-shirts.

We had an absolute blast running the program with all the talented individuals at Jacaranda, accompanied by their youth worker Chris, who has also been super supportive of our endeavours. 

As a celebration of Jacaranda Cottage and all that they do for at-risk young women in the Sutherland Shire, we are donating 100% of proceeds from our first online sales pilot to Jacaranda Cottage! 

This fundraiser in particular is looking to support Jacaranda Cottage through the COVID-19 period and hope to run another amazing workshop with them in the future.
